Format: 1v1 Double Elimination
Restrictions: Any player with a top 8 placing in any previous tournament
Prize: A Prize Medal for the top 3 spots
Entry fee: $1!
Changing of character during tournament is NOT allowed
Time: 7pm start. Registration opens at 6:30pm

Shiks has just given us the lowdown on what’s going down this Saturday. And mmm, the prizes are tasty. From Shiks:
Date: Sat, 24 Oct 2009
Venue: VivoCity, Western Court Area
Time: 7pm to 9pm
Registration for each challenge begins one day before each challenge (starting 3pm 23 Oct). Simply approach the registration booth at the XGS stage area to sign up for each specific challenge. Each challenge will have its specific rules and regulations to be spelt out at XGS. Participants under 21 need to seek parental/guardian consent to enter each event. Additional terms and conditions apply.
Ok first off, not expecting this to be any sort of “proper” tournament as we’re used to, seeing that it is only 2 hours. Nothing on the rules or regulations can be found on the website itself so guess we can only find out on Friday if we go sign up. From what I’ve gathered, wireless pads will be used, don’t think they’ll agree to having us bring sticks because of time factor but can always ask I guess.
BUT
The prizes look kickass awesome, no cash, but pretty good er….goods!
1st Prize: 1 LG 47” TV
2nd Prize: 1 LG 42” TV
3rd Prize: 1 LG Home Theatre System
4th Prize: 1 LG Home Theatre System
I hope that whoever goes to this, wears their Round1 tee if they have one. Some people might get curious, ask you a few questions and you can tell them all about the community right here on Round 1. And that we’re around to help/have a game with online/offline. It’s a way of helping further develop our community =)

Congratulations to the placers! I’d also like to point out that Dixon had emerged from the Loser’s Bracket after getting knocked into it by Xian, making this the first and only occasion in K.O. that a Loser’s Bracket champion emerged on top.
With this, your full list of Qualifiers is complete, on July 3rd-5th at Suntec, we will be seeing.
