Hey guys,
The global SC4 side just received confirmation on a World Cup being held in France on the 3rd to 7th March 2010.
On a personal level, I think (with a bit of financial discipline) I'm guaranteed to go for SC4.. Anyone else interested in forming a whole "Singapore" contingent for various games? The last time round what they did was provide accommodation. Our guys only had to worry about plane tickets and personal expenses.
The list of main events are as follows.
- Soulcalibur IV (Solo) – Sunday March 7th 2010.
- Soulcalibur IV (5vs5) – Saturday March 6th 2010.
- Soulcalibur IV (World Team Cup) – Sunday Marth 7th 2010. (Only National teams can attend).
- Tekken VI (Solo) – Saturday March 6th 2010.
- Street Fighter IV (2vs2) – Sunday March 7th 2010.
- Guilty Gear XX Accent Core (3vs3) – Saturday March 6th 2010.
- The King Of Fighters 2002 UM (Solo) – Saturday March 6th 2010.
This is only for events WITH prize money.
Additional tournaments for each game will also be held.
If anyone is interested do let me know, I'll be getting in touch with their representatives as soon as I get accurate gauging of interest from our players.
Edit: The organisers have set up a World Cup 2010 subforum on their site. Located
here.
